Dunn's River Falls, located near Ocho Rios in Jamaica, is one of the island’s most famous natural attractions. This magnificent waterfall stands at approximately 180 feet high and stretches 600 feet long.
Take a 1-hour scenic drive from Falmouth along the north coast highway, through the historic towns of Discovery Bay and Runaway Bay, to see this amazing waterfall and park. You will walk through the park surrounded by lush vegetation and beautiful flora and fauna to get to the falls station where the guides will be waiting for you. You can opt to go with your group only, or with a group and tip your guide at the end of your climb (recommended).
After walking to the beginning of the falls, your guide will allow you to form a human chain with him at head and beginning your climb. Enjoy the cool fresh river water rushing from up high. You will stop occasionally to dip in several mini pools and jacuzzies, to take pictures under mini waterfalls while enjoying your climb to the top. There are several exit points along the way if you cannot continue the climb. Entrance fee included.
